Coretek 360

Add IT asset disposition to your MSP serviceswithout building it.

Your clients already ask what to do with old hardware. Coretek 360 collects it, wipes it to NIST 800-88, and reports per client, so you can offer ITAD under your own agreements and keep the relationship.

An ITAD partnership built for managed service providers.

You scope each client's retirement with us. We run pickup, data destruction to NIST 800-88, and recycling through R2v3 certified downstream processors. You receive a per client report for the HIPAA, GLBA, or PCI DSS obligations that flow down from their contracts.

  1. Client Intake

You tell us what each client is retiring and where, from laptops and desktops to servers and network gear. We plan the work around your service commitments and their compliance needs.

    • Scoped client by client
    • Fitted to your commitments
    • One point of contact for you
  2. Secure Collection

Hardware is collected from your clients' sites in tracked vehicles under documented chain of custody, so you can account for each asset from their dock to our floor.

    • Pickups at client sites
    • Tracked vehicles
    • Chain of custody documented throughout
  3. Data Sanitization

Every client drive is wiped to NIST 800-88 and verified, or shredded, with a certificate of data destruction tied to its serial number for that client's file. Shredding is done in house by Coretek 360. It is not yet covered by our R2v3 certificate, and we are actively working to add it.

    • Wiped to NIST 800-88 and verified
    • Shredded when media must not survive
    • A certificate for every serial number
  4. Remarketing & Recycling

Client hardware with life left in it is refurbished and resold through our sales channels, with the value returned. Everything else goes to R2v3 certified downstream processors, as a RIOS Certified Recycler.

    • Working hardware refurbished and resold
    • Value returned
    • R2v3 certified downstream recycling
  5. Audit Ready Reporting

Reports and certificates are organized by client, so you can hand each account proof of disposal for its own auditors, whether they ask under HIPAA, GLBA, or PCI DSS.

    • Reports organized by client
    • Certificates of data destruction
    • Proof you can pass along

Frequently asked questions.

Direct answers on the rules you answer to, the hardware we take, and the records you keep.

Our clients answer to HIPAA, GLBA, or PCI DSS. Does your process support that?

HIPAA, GLBA, and PCI DSS obligations flow down to an MSP from its clients' contracts, and each client's auditors expect proof of disposal. Coretek 360 wipes every client drive to NIST 800-88 and verifies it, or shreds it, and ties a certificate of data destruction to the serial number for that client's file.

What kinds of client hardware can we send you?

The MSP partnership covers the hardware your clients retire, including laptops, desktops, servers, network gear, and more. You tell Coretek 360 what each client is retiring and where, and the work is planned around your service commitments and that client's compliance needs. Hardware with life left in it is refurbished and resold, with the value returned.

Do we get separate reports for each client?

Reports and certificates from Coretek 360 are organized by client, so each account gets its own proof of disposal. That means a certificate of data destruction per serial number, recording the drive serial number, the NIST 800-88 method used, and the date, plus a serialized asset report showing custody, make and model, sanitization method, and final disposition, resale or recycling, for every asset.

Can we offer ITAD under our own agreements and keep the client relationship?

Offering ITAD under your own MSP agreements is what the partnership is built for. You scope each client's retirement with Coretek 360, and Coretek 360 runs the pickup at the client's site, the data destruction to NIST 800-88, and the recycling. You keep the client relationship and deal with one point of contact.

Who schedules the pickups at our clients' sites?

Coretek 360 schedules and runs the pickups with each client, in tracked vehicles under documented chain of custody, and keeps you informed. You stay the point of contact for the relationship; our team does the packing, collection, processing, and reporting, so adding ITAD to your services does not add a job to your help desk.

Do our clients get value back from their hardware?

Yes. Client hardware with life left in it is tested, refurbished, and resold through our sales channels after its drives are wiped to NIST 800-88, and the value returned is itemized in that client's report. Equipment past reuse is recycled through R2v3 certified downstream processors.

Which certifications can we show our clients?

Coretek 360 is R2v3 certified and a RIOS Certified Recycler, sanitizes media to NIST 800-88, and handles devices under HIPAA compliant procedures. All four are current, and your clients' compliance reviewers can verify them before they sign off, which answers the vendor questions that come up when you add a service.

How do we get started as an MSP partner?

Choose Partner as your reason on the contact form and tell us about the clients you support, where their hardware sits, and how often it is retired. We come back with a plan for pickups, processing, and per client reporting, and the partnership runs under your own agreements.
